The count down finally closes as tomorrow I set off on a tour of Indonesia as one of the five finalists for UK Young Fashion Entrepreneur of the Year 2010. The first stop is Jakarta, where myself and the other finalists will be introduced to the culture and vibrancy of Indonesia’s Fashion world. Our host for the tour is Indonesia’s women’s glossy magazine Femina www.femina.in and we will be showcasing our work as well as soaking up everything that is fashion and textiles in this beautiful emerging country. After Jakarta, we’ll be heading off to Bandung and Solo and then back to Jakarta again. Its been a hectic year already for Eternal Spirits and this tour just adds to all the excitement for the brand. With opportunities to collaborate with Indonesion designers, explore the fabrics and trims for new collections and soak up the culture I cannot wait to jet off! and this time tomorrow the plane will be setting off from Gatwick…. so goodbye for now and i’ll be keeping you posted on my Indonesian adventures!! xx
